Business Intelligence Analyst

Responsibilities:

• As a Business Intelligence Analyst you play a key-role in supporting the department heads at foodpanda in their analytical needs and helping them making smart, data-driven decisions
• Your key responsibility is to gather analytical needs and requirements from your team, lead on the design and creation of the agreed output & reports with a constant effort for automation and enhancement
• The role is interdisciplinary, as it requires solid understanding of databases and SQL, as well as deep understanding of the function you work with
• We are looking for Analysts in diverse fields such as Conversion Rate, Operations, Marketing, Sales, Finance and Customer Retention departments.
• Constantly work towards improving customer experience

Requirements:

• After earning an outstanding degree in Business, Economics or a quantitative field, you have gained first experience in Business/Marketing intelligence, Controlling or other relevant field
• You are a true number-cruncher, have a deep understanding of statistics and mathematics and on top of that you have fundamental understanding of e-commerce/e-marketplaces and are capable in becoming a specialist in the department of your interest
• Excellent Excel and data visualization skills are mandatory, SQL knowledge is a huge plus and VBA is favorable
• Very good English skills are mandatory for this position. The entry level is depending on your previous experience.
